Why do we make blended thermal underwear?
Everyone here has already tested various styles of merino thermal underwear. We’ve experimented with different fabric weights, fiber blends, and all sorts of manufacturers. But nothing was quite right. Either the underwear was made of 100% merino wool, so it didn’t perform as well and felt scratchy, or it was made of various strange combinations of materials that simply couldn’t work.
We decided we wouldn’t settle for compromises or half-measures. Our merino thermal underwear has all the positive properties of both wool and synthetics, and they complement each other perfectly. Thanks to the strength of the material, the thermal underwear is thinner, yet functionally far superior to thicker competing products. The ideal blend of materials ensures a wide range of activities and uses. So it won’t matter where you’re going, but rather what functional base layer you’re wearing.
