Why are we mixing fibres in our thermal underwear?
All of us have already tested all sorts of merino underwear. We took a closer look at the strength of fabrics, various mixtures and combinations of fibres and we tried different producers. However, it was never the very right thing. Either it was 100% merino wool, so that its technical properties were not optimal and it was a bit scratchy for the skin, or there was a weird combination of materials that could not work, as a matter of fact.
We decided we won’t compromise on our solution. Our merino underwear not only combines all the benefits of wool and synthetic fibres, but also they complement each other. While our fabrics is thinner, its functional properties clearly outperform our competitors. The optimum ratio of materials allows for huge diversity of activities and use. It is not so important what your destination is, but what kind of first technical layer you will put on.
